Welcome to my corner of the digital savanna! I’m Simon Beevers, a wildlife enthusiast and photographer. Born and raised amidst the rolling hills of rural Devon in England, my heart found its true rhythm when I crossed continents and settled in the vibrant landscapes of South Africa.

The bush—oh, the bush! It’s where my soul sings. Whether I’m crouched in the golden grass, camera in hand, waiting for that perfect lioness portrait, or perched silently as a lilac-breasted roller flits by, I’m in my element. Africa’s pulse beats through me—the rustle of acacia leaves, the distant roar of a distant predator, the kaleidoscope of birdlife that graces every dawn.

My lens captures moments that defy words: a herd of elephants at sunset, their wrinkled hides painted gold; a stealthy leopard draped over a marula branch, eyes locked on an unsuspecting impala; or the balletic dance of wildebeest during the Great Migration—a symphony of dust and determination.

Birds? Ah, they’re my airborne companions. From the majestic fish eagle to the iridescent bee-eater, each feathered creature tells a tale of survival, adaptation, and sheer beauty. And travel? Well, it’s my passport to wonder. Whether I’m tracing the Okavango Delta’s waterways or chasing sunsets across Busanga Plains, I’m forever humbled by this vast, untamed continent.

So, join me on this visual safari. Let’s celebrate Africa’s wild heart—one pixel at a time
